Using the Ingalls Library: The Basics

Visiting the Library

The Ingalls Library and Museum Archives in the Cleveland Museum of Art is open to the public Tuesday to Friday, from 10:00am to 4:50pm. Ingalls is a closed stack, non-circulating library. What this means is that you are welcome to use our materials on site, but in order to make the best use of your time, you should plan ahead and submit hold requests for the resources you are planning to consult  before your visit. To place holds you must have a library account and be logged in.

Materials are retrieved from the library stacks at 9:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.
